JLL Spark and Downing Ventures co-invest £4 million into hottest PropTech in town

Hubble, the online platform for flexible office space, has raised Series A finance on a round led by JLL Spark Global Venture Fund with co-investment from our client Downing Ventures as well as the Directors of M7 Real Estate (owners of commercial property management and data software Coyote) and Starwood Capital (via its PropTech fund, Concrete).  This is the first investment into Europe by JLL Spark, the Silicon Valley-based venture capital arm of JLL.

In prior rounds, Hubble was backed by some of the biggest names in the UK tech scene, including (former ‘Dragon’) James Caan and Streetcar (now Zipcar) founder Brett Akker.  Hubble also had Rohan Silva as co-founder, a former technology advisor to the Prime Minister.

Certainly, Hubble seems to be the hottest ProTech ticket in town and we are very much looking forward to watching where the management team can take the business with investment secured from both sides of the pond.  Surely a bright future lies ahead.
