New search fund launched to make acquisitions and then scale with AI

We advised a UK company – with founders from Europe, referred to HLaw by one of our overseas best friend firms – who raised funds with a view to providing working capital for the purposes of then searching for acquisition targets, raising institutional finance to make those acquisitions, and then giving the original investors a 1.5x step up into the institutional strip.  The investors were from Europe and the USA.  The company aims to locate target businesses in traditional areas of commerce and then equip them with the latest AI tools with a view to generating growth and synergies generally.
