Humphreys Law makes PitchBook list of most active VC advisors in Europe

n just under a year after being established, we are pleased to have been included in Pitchbook’s Q1 2018 league tables, as one of the most active VC law firms in Europe.

We were established in September 2017, after identifying a gap in the market for a nimble boutique law firm focusing in the venture tech space. Since then, we have grown to a team of ten and advised on 35+ transactions with aggregate values approaching £100m.  The market seems to like what we are doing.

Our law firm is immersed in tech, advising in the space where corporate finance meets the technology economy. Our clients are either companies exploiting valuable IP and data, or they are investors into, or buyers and sellers of those companies.  We provide advisory services at all stages of the cap table acting for founder and management teams, venture-backed and growth-stage companies, venture capital funds, corporate venture capital arms and buyers and sellers.

PitchBook’s 1Q 2018 Global League Tables is the comprehensive ranking of private equity and venture capital activity worldwide for the first quarter of 2018. The tables detail top investors by region, firm headquarters, AUM and more, as well as the most active law firms and acquirers of PE-backed and VC-backed companies. In addition, there are multiple tables detailing which service providers are most active in a given deal type, such as the law firms that most frequently service buyouts.
