PitchBook’s 2024 global rankings are out for 2024: HLaw claims a spot once again

Flying the flag for high-quality independent boutique law firms, our team at Humphreys Law has claimed a spot once again in PitchBook’s annual publication of its global league tables for venture capital transactions.  You can find a copy of the 2024 rankings on the PitchBook website.

Henry Humphreys, Managing Partner, commented: “2024 was a challenging year for UK venture capital, with the market still working through a hangover from 2021 pricing and that speed of deployment since much slowed.  Our team has carried on working hard and remains committed to UK venture tech, working with clients in good times and in bad, and towards the end of the year we started to see an uptick in levels of activity and a something of a return in terms of volumes of priced rounds, albeit largely at the seed and series A stages.  Spurred into action by developments in the US and in US politics, perhaps 2025 will be a year in which Europe seizes more of its opportunities and perhaps the UK can at long last start to find its post-Brexit footing so as to lead that revival.”
