We assisted our client – a UK company with strong links to Japan and the Tokyo cyber security industry – with the drafting and negotiation of English-law reseller and agency agreements with a series of counterparties on the other side based in a range of major global jurisdictions. Our advice included running a compare and contrast exercise for the differing models of resale, agency, distribution, and franchising so that our client could take an informed view of which contractual structure to proceed with.
