HLaw advised Simsan Ventures on their first investment into Enercamp

The HLaw venture capital team has advised its client and new UK VC fund manager, Simsan Ventures, on its first investment, hot on the heels of HLaw having advised on the first close of its fund I limited partnership.

This first investment was into Enercamp, a Korean mobile electric vehicle charging platform company that develops high-efficiency energy storage technology, primarily focused on smart battery charging. The company has pioneered an emergency charging solution that harnesses green energy and employs cutting-edge battery modularisation technology to manage it in real-time.

Simsan Ventures is an early-stage diversity VC fund that backs underrepresented founders and diverse teams developing frontier technologies and solving vital issues. It aims to democratise venture capital and unlock access to cross-border investment in “mispriced market opportunities”.

HLaw was involved in setting up and launching Simsan Ventures’ £50M seed and pre-seed fund 1 in February this year. You can find more information about the fund launch here.
