OutThink raises $10 million for its security awareness platform, HLaw acts for Romanian investors

Our team worked alongside Romanian best-friend firm, Stratulat Albulescu (SAA), to advise GapMinder – one of the leading venture capital firms in Romania – on its investment into OutThink.

OutThink is a cyber security venture, building a ‘human risk management platform’ that is a radical alternative to traditional cyber security solutions in the market. It claims to do this by, “targeting the source of 90% of all data breaches: human behaviour.” OutThink also has a subsidiary company and part of its business in Romania.

Co-investing with GapMinder on the round were Albion VC, TriplePoint Capital, Forward Partners and Innovate UK.

Following completion of the deal, HLaw’s Natalya Vilyavina and Sanya Bhambhani travelled to Romania to meet with SAA and various VCs in the Romanian VC scene.
