Humphreys Law makes top 20 for VC law firms in Europe

umphreys Law has made the top 20 most active VC law firms in Europe for 2018 in the latest PitchBook Annual Global League tables. The tables provide comprehensive ranking of private equity and venture capital activity worldwide for the full year, detailing top investors by region, firm headquarters, AUM and more, as well as the most active law firms and acquirers of PE-backed and VC-backed companies.

Some of Humphreys Law’s highlights from 2018 include acting for the management team of Community Fibre, who raised £25 million in a series C round led by the National Digital Infrastructure Fund, and working on the investor side of ADC Biotechnology’s series C and series D funding rounds raising £11 million in aggregate. Other deals include working on the sale of fintech firm Dimebox to Verifone in the USA, and involved in JLL Spark and Downing’s £4m investment in proptech company Hubble.

Humphreys Law was launched in September 2017 to focus exclusively on advising PE and VC tech and media sectors.  Since then, the firm has built a team of 15 people that has managed to advise on more than 50 transactions to date. HLaw works across the board, with funds and family offices, corporate VCs and VC-backed companies.
