Financial services sector specialist Martin Cornish joins Humphreys Law

umphreys Law is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin Cornish as Senior Consultant.  Martin is well known in the financial services advisory community and comes to Humphreys Law with a stellar track record.

Martin has over two decades’ experience as a leading fund management and financial services regulatory expert. He has particular expertise when it comes to structuring and advising venture, private equity, hedge and real estate funds and their managers, but also advises across the whole alternative fund management industry including acting for investors and placement agents.

Martin also provides regulatory support for venture capital and private equity backed fintechs, including P2P lending, crowdfunding and blockchain driven technology platforms (and in particular on the applicable FCA, FSMA and EU rules and regulations).

Martin has a great deal of experience advising on cross-jurisdictional legal and regulatory issues including cross-border fundraisings and domicile selection for businesses and funds.
